Making some Christmas Ornaments...

I had purchased these 4x4 chipboard squares over a year ago and did not know exactly what I was going to do with them.
So I was playing over the weekend and used alot of different techniques on two of them.
I did front and backs.

Things have been quite busy here.
Having lots of issues with Presten's high school. They are no help when you have a smart kid.
Seriously it is driving me crazy.
They pass you around because no one has the answers to help you out.
Grrrrrr...
Other then that~ football season is in full gear for two of my boys. One is in High school and one in middle school. So lots of games starting this week. We also had a pre-season game last week...we lost!
Also, my basketball boy has been doing lots of fundraisers and actually won for one of his days~ $20. So he is needless to say happy camper.
My little man is doing great and happy to be back in school.
Okay....going to stop rambling and get off the computer.
Have a wonderful Tuesday.

an Award

Thank you for this award, Lisa Jane. You are a very talented and wonderful friend.

Rules: Oh don't forget to thank the person who sent it to you.
1. You have to pass this award to five bloggers who you love and who inspire you
2. List 3 things you love
3. Show a picture you love and explain why

It is hard to narrow my blogger friends list to just five....but here it goes. Of course it gets passed right back at Lisa Jane.

1. Cheryl 2. Ann-Sofie 3. Sarah (little creations) 4. Linda 5. Inger

Three things I love:

1. God

2. My boys

3. My husband

Those were pretty easy and to the point. I have no picture to share at this moment. If I could it would be of my hubby and my boys....

Heres hoping to craft some this weekend. I surely do miss it!

Inside and out card...

A fall birthday card for a friend.
I punched out flowers out of the yellow then punched out the flowers in another DP and attached them with a pearl in the middle. Used my butterfly punch and added stickles and made the wings expand some. Finished with a sentiment stamp and MS border punch.

Hope everyone is a having a wonderful week.
Still trying to fit in some crafting but things sure have been busy here.
So much to do and so little time anymore.
Though I wouldn't have it any other way.

We have been praying for a new church to attend. I have been with mine over 20 years and these past months I have not wanted to go anymore which I believe it is time for a change.
So after watching Joel Osteen who always encourages me this morning....I believe something will draw me and my family to a new church.

Okay gotta run some errands. Have a wonderful week!

Trying something new on a Christmas card

Sorry but the color in the pictures is a little off. I was trying to post a card that I made for Christmas. I made a flip up part where the Tree is to sign underneath.
I also made a pull out part with the Date of Christmas.
I used my crafters companion to make the card design. Cut out a sturdy cardstock for the backing. The colors are a mint green with white background. It did not capture that to well.

Hope you are having a wonderful week. I have some layouts that I made yesterday for my back to school boys. I will try and get pictures today and post. You know I am not to good with layouts but wanted to remember the day! They were all so very handsome on their first day back to school.

Expecting is bliss

Hello its me....again
Here is a card that I did up over the past few days. Yep~that is right took me a few days as I have been so busy here at the homefront. Already feeling like a taxi. Monday starts the new school year. Excited and sad....My oldest is a senior and my second oldest starts High school. Big years....the other two are in 7th and 2nd grade. Now I need to come up with Graduation creations.
I popped out the handmade clouds used puff paint and smeared them for a different textured look. Outlined them with gel pens. I colored the expendant mom and bench with a variety of markers and pens. Added sentiment Bliss....Hope you like. See you soon in blogland~I hope!

Sewing birdhouse...

Let's see I found these great pages on a scrapbook magazine site....they were free in the archieves. I have had them printed for months so I don't remember which magazine it was. sorry :(.......As you know I love to sew too. So this is my birdhouse that I refinished in a scrapbook way. I used Modge podge over the papers...so it gives off a glare from my camera on the first picture. I am most excited about my spool of thread that I made from paper. I used my button punch and rolled the paper to make it. simple as pie! Then used embossing thread to wrap it. Let me know what you think. Anything goes challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty

Two posts in one day....seems like I am getting back into the swing of things. LOL

Tuesdays Trigger
Here is a cute box I made from a template. You can put anything you want in it~which is a nice thing. I wanted to make a seashells one since I bought a bag of these shells at Tuesday Mornings a while back. My idea was to make it like a garland and used a couple of buttons too!
My stamps are: fish~Michaels $1 deal and Lifeguard stamp is Tweety Jill Oceanside collection.

I am entering this in Moxie Fab World.

Anniversary box...

I had a little time to play yesterday. So created this gift box using my crafters companion.
I actually cut out the center heart and added blue underlay to it. I used my stickles to spruce it up some. I then punched out hearts from a puncher and popped them up 3d. Added some dew drops and faux stitching. I also had the cutest ring ribbon so added that around the box sides. Added the sentiment stamp and wallah!

Have a super day!

It's a cook out....sorry I have been quite absent

First off I am so sorry to have been soooooooooo absent lately.
I never realized it would be so hard to craft over the summer time.
But as you can see it has been.
This card is so fitting for me. As we have been doing alot of this lately.
I loved this digi set that I received from a great friend.
It was fun to pop out the images and use dimension paint for the smoke sizzle.
I hope once school starts back up on the 18th that I will have more time for creations.
I do miss it but have lost the mojo.
Sorry too, if I have not come to your blog to spread the love. That I have slacked on as well.
Please don't forget me as I plan on being up and running at the end of the summer.
Even with the boys playing football at their school. I will squeeze in crafting. haha
Have a wonderful and blessed August month. See you soon :)
Hugs and smiles always...God bless
Tammy
