My little crafter....and a newbie from me

My 7 year old, Colten is so proud of his new creation. So...I had to have a picture of him.
Just too cute!!! His coloring was so good. He wanted an orange flower....Oppsss I see a little blooper must have been from him showing his brothers the card. One of the gems moved from its red circle to the blue area. He 3d the bird on the left. Added a sentiment sticker. I think he did a swell job!
He chose what stamp he wanted inside. It is a super one too!!

My newest creation is a Matchbox scratch pad holder.
It was so much fun to make. Something different.
I love when I find different templates to work with. Brings on my mojo. yipee!
I used some of my Wild orchid flowers on it and 3d popped the Tilda.

The inside...cut paper to fit. These are kinda large match holders. Haha...

Been sooooo busy....figured I would get a card done!

So sorry I have not been around lately. Things have been so busy this summer. I'm actually a happy camper because Friday I fly to NY. First time ever....so excited and also it is a girls getaway. So you can probably get the vibe of me smiling hugely! Haha... I made this card last night and finished it today. It was fun to make a guy card. I used my free Kenny K image. I used a Monster tab that my boys save and a brad to make a hanger. Turned out cute....I ripped the edges and distressed the paper and inked. I love My Minds Eye papers so used a couple squares of them.
Okay...off to do the house work. Have a wonderful week!

Trying a little something different

I was in the mood to *sew* today. So I made this hat and scarf.
Actually I loved making the flowers and will have to make some smaller ones for scrapbooking.
Always fun to learn new things. The scarf has pleats too.
Will look sharp for winter this year.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
I am getting my tissue ready for tonights "Deadliest Catch". When Phil Harris passes away.
I feel for his sons...Have been watching this show since it started along with Ice road Truckers.
Yep~in a house full of men go figure.
Watched a great movie last night Book Of Eli....Wow~ is all I can say!

Danty Blue sparkle

I wanted to try and make something different...so I went with the house template with Tilda which opens on one side to put a little somthing in it.
Then I used the cone as the goodie holder.

Plastic bags and Gorilla glue oh my...

I have made something really neat.
I did the ironing technique on a VF bags. You have to make sure you have 8 layers folded and pressed between wax paper on both sides. Iron really well on one side and then flip over. I cut the access off when I stitched it together. I made this cute little holder for our toothbrushes and toothpaste. Which is handy for a trip. I then embellished it with buttons and flowers and ribbons and bling. Using my Gorilla glue to fasten them to the plastic. It held them great and dried crystal like (clear). Finished it off with Velcro.
Note- always turn your bags inside out so it keeps the ink from messing.

Entered this in over at Under the Table and Dreaming.
Let me know what you think of my little project.

Hello....

Just making sure you don't forget me. hahaha
This one is different because I did not want to use a digital image. Going back to old school with this one. My sentiment is a from Hero Arts. I loved these flowers and ribbon that I purchased at Micheals. A little cuttlebug dots and inking and wah-la!
We are on our trip right now. I am sure enjoying family visits. Actually a good friend of mine will be there the same time so we are hoping to meet and go see Eclipse together.
So have a great rest of the week.
